Risk Assessment

“The manufacturer of machinery … must ensure that a risk assessment is carried out…”
(Machinery Directive Annex I (1))

We support you in the preparation of your risk assessment or completely prepare it together with you.
We explicitly adhere to EN ISO 12100.
Risk assessment and risk minimization can be divided into five process steps:

  1. Determining the machine’s limits
  2. Identifying the hazards and the associated hazardous situations that can be generated by the machinery
  3. Estimating the risks, taking into account the severity of the possible injury or damage to health and the probability of its occurrence
  4. Evaluating the risks with a view to determining whether risk reduction is required
  5. Eliminating the hazards or reducing the risks associated with these hazards.

The risk assessment is an iterative process whose repetition may be necessary in order to sufficiently reduce risks.

MRL Consultation / Planning

During our safety consultation and planning according to the Machinery Directive and EN13849 / EN62061, an actual analysis is used to take into account all processes and the use of your system during the complete lifecycle. The risk assessment culminates in the creation of an individual safety concept. The subsequent creation of the quotation includes economic and organizational considerations. This helps you to get an overview of the costs and the effort for the safety functions of your system and to prepare for it economically.
